3. Explanation of independent clauses and gerunds.

Periods 5-6
1. Check homework.
2. Review of present participial phrases with overhead and examples from class.
3. Introduction of next six words and sentences that begin with a series of present participial phrases followed by a comma (Due tomorrow).
