3.  Begin Ch. 1 to page 6

Night:
1.  Same as above.
2.  Begin Ch. 1 to page 8; take notes on Elie Wiesel's devout interest in his religion, his intrinsic motivation to learn the Kabbalah mysticism.  Also, take notes on the people's delusion and denial that the impact of the Nazi invasion could ever affect/impact them in any negative way.

3.  Homework:  Complete reading of Ch. 1 to page 22)  Be ready to discuss tomorrow.
