Per. 1-3

1. Night SAR 2 Analysis: Whole class analysis of Short Answer response formulating the different parts of the SAR, writing each of the sections after class brainstorming from the Analysis handout. Students filled in the 10-line box  following the SAR checklist. Work was collected.

Per. 6-7

1.  Farewell to Manzanar:  Per. 6:  Discuss Foreward, Timeline, and Ch. 1.  Per. 7:  See Edmodo for notes on Ch. 1

2. Night SAR 2 Analysis: Whole class discussion breaking apart the sections to the question and finding evidence (Quotes) to support the topic sentence.  We began to formulate the 10-line SAR in the box on notebook paper.  Students stapled the box behind the Analysis sheet and turned in.
