Periods 1 - 3

1. SSR and LOG

2. Exercise on "Common Errors":  Homonyms: their, there, they're; verb phrases: should/would/could have;
Point of view:  I/my; we/our; you/your; he or she/his or her   they/their

3. Review "Terrible Science," "Community Support,"  and "Eggs" revising and editing analyzing the "WHY" of the incorrect answers.

NOTE:  OF MICE AND MEN TEST TOMORROW. BRING ALL CHAPTER QUESTIONS.

Periods 5 - 7

1. Students worked on Sentence Skill: Rewrite Run-On Sentences.  Complete 1 - 10.  If you don't finish, complete for homework.

2. Checked Vocabulary Lesson XIV (14).

3. Reviewed/checked "The Lion and the Eagle" DLA Reading TEST.  Students checked their own packets and annotated the "WHY" of correct and incorrect answers.

4. Finished viewing film Of Mice and Men
