2.  Of Mice and Men:  Complete reading of Chapter 5.  Period 3:  No SSR and finished novel.

3.  District Level II Assessment: Reading: Read first story and answer first nine questions.

4.  Homework:  Study vocabulary "scrappy - writhe"


Periods 5 - 7

1.  Peer revision of Of Mice and Men "The Power Struggle"  paragraphs using rubric. 
Students revised two papers each.  Each paragraph should have two revisions stapled to the back. Take the paragraphs home, edit, revise, and rewrite. Bring tomorrow.

2.  Of Mice and Men:  Complete reading of Chapter 5.

3.  The Grapes of Wrath:  Read chapters 21-22 by Thursday.

4.  Vocabulary:  Complete Lesson 13 XIII in workbook.  Bring Thursday.
