1.  Checked Night 41-60 vocabulary (Except Per. 2, 3)

2.  Completed reading/discussing Farewell to Manzanar Chapters 1-2. 
Students filled out focus questions for  Chapters 1-2  from notes and book. (Except Per. 2).

3.  HOMEWORK:  Study Night vocabulary 41-60.

Periods 5 - 7:

1.  Complete Night Written portion of test:  Essay

2.  Period 7:  I Had Seen Castles. Discussed symbolism of "empty room"  in chapter 1.

3.  HOMEWORK: 
Finish reading I Had Seen Castles to page 97 by tomorrow. 
Complete Vocabulary Lesson XX (20).  Bring to class.
