Note:  If you have not finished your STAAR expository essay, make sure you come finish it at lunch tutorials.

Periods 1-3

1.  SSR and LOG.  Periods 2 nd 3 LOG check.

2.  Distributed second chart for outline as well as outline format.  Complete "AST" outline for homework following the sample.  Skip lines between items.


Period 2:  Vocabulary sentences for PSAT List # 3

Periods 5 - 7

1.  Checked "AST" outlines, and most students did not skip lines or did not write legibly.  Students will type their outlines and bring them on Monday, 10/15.

2.  Vocabulary Quiz IX and X.

3.  Graded  outlines for those students who completed them correctly.
