Periods 1 - 2

Dr. Matt McConn visited these classes to coach students on the STAAR test:  scoring, graduation minimum requirements, and the specific differences between expository and persuasive essays and how to identify each.

Periods 3, 5 and 7:

Students perused their practice Writing and Reading tests to identify reasons for incorrect choices. 

P.S. Period 1 only checked half of the writing test.
